Our eco- friendly concept and design ensured that the majority of materials used in the construction is all eco-friendly.
The chalets at Yakaduru have been constructed from wattle and daub and using coconut fond for the roof.
Yala National Park
Sri Lanka’s premier national park is popular for Elephant, Leopard, Bear, Crocodile and wild Boar. Located to the south east of the island, the main physical features are sand dunes, lagoons, dry river, stream beds, rocky outcrops and scrub / thorn forest at 97,800 hectares, this is the second largest of Sri Lanka’s national parks.
The Park is best known for its variety of Wild Animals as for its importance for its conservation of Sri Lankan Elephants, Sri Lankan Leopards and many aquatic birds. Yala hosts a variety of Eco systems ranging from the moist monsoon forests to freshwater and marine wetlands.
