Highlights

Farming / Rice Cultivation

Rice production or Paddy production is one of the main productions and staple foods in Sri Lanka. It cultivates in all districts of Sri Lanka during two monsoon seasons. The seasons are called Maha season and Yala season. Maha Season starts by September and ends by March during North-east monsoon, and Yala season starts by May and ends by August.

Together with the local community of a village in Sri Lanka, you could experience a glimpse of a farmer’s life cultivating rice by planting the rice seedlings & experiencing the south Asian mud fields.

Along the evergreen rice fields and passing villages, the visitors would be taken to an open area where a live cooking station is placed and a warm delightful Sri Lankan meal being served in a humble village styl
